American Snapshots:
Two Hundred Years of American Song
# THCD-70
American Snapshots is a program of songs and piano solos representing a "core sample" of American music; from traditional ballads to music by Louis Moreau Gottschalk, John Jacob Niles, Stephen Foster, Irving Berlin, Carmichael & Mercer, Annie Ross, John Fogerty, Otis Jackson, Bix Beiderbecke, Phil Ochs, Tom Lehrer, Malvina Reynolds, and each of the Mayorgas. Through the songs, the Mayorgas wend their way from America's mountaintops, to the ballads and be-bop of the city, and into the storm of American politics.
This is a CD. We do not have vinyl.
